This class is rooted in the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga, which is an ancient practice made popular in the early 1900s by the grandfather of Vinyasa Yoga (flow), Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. You will open class with Sun Salutations, followed by the traditional standing sequence. Next we will move into select postures from the primary and intermediate sequences. Finally, we will close with the original closing sequence with options to modify.
We call this class“remix” because we do love the sacred roots of the practice, but have also brought a modern flair into the mix!
