Intro to Meditation

In this beginner friendly workshop, we will practice 20 minutes of breathwork to prepare the mind and body for 20 minutes of seated meditation. We cannot meditate without our breath. One of the main reasons for a yoga practice is to prepare ourselves to sit comfortably. In order to quiet the mind we must practice becoming friends with the mind and be okay with thoughts coming and going. This takes patience, practice, and letting go of competition and the need for a specific result. It's about observing oneself with loving awareness, non-judgment, and curiosity so that we can enhance feelings of gratitude, peace, and joy. That's why we're offering four workshops where you can come to just one or more to get comfortable with establishing your own meditation practice if it's something that is calling to you. We'll have a short discussion at the beginning of each workshop and optional sharing/questions at the end.

$30 each session or $100 for all 4
