Alee Link (Founder)

Alee stepped into her first yoga class at age twelve and fell instantly in love with the fluidity and connectivity of the movement. Her mom is a dance teacher, so she grew up in a dance studio and movement has been an essential part of her life since a very young age. She has gone through the phases of why she moves physically- of course, it began as a way to self express, then it moved into a fitness obsession (to be honest), and now it is her living prayer.

In college, she majored in communication arts & photography. At the time, she had no idea her life-path would be in the world of yoga, because communication, via writing and photography, was her fuel. Later she came to realize that she has been placed on this earth to literally help guide people into a deeper understanding of connectivity, which ultimately is what communication is all about. Through her deep studies in yoga, philosophy, religion, spirituality, nature, and astrology, she has developed a teaching method that allows students to truly FEEL the magic of connection for themselves. Her teachings encourage every student she touches to reclaim their personal power, to gracefully release old patterning, and awaken to a life of pure connectivity. This is why we're all here on this Earth right now: to connect with ourselves, each other, the natural world, and the Universe.

This is why she founded River Flow Yoga & Wellness in Columbus, GA (her hometown). She saw a desperate need for community & connection, therefore decided to use the vehicle of self care to help people understand that they are in fact valuable, important, and needed- that they do, in fact, belong and have a very specific and unique purpose. As a result, a huge tribe has formed where we gather on the mat and in Nature in the name of love, compassion, and inclusivity.

Alee has a very deep relationship with the natural world and uses Nature (via the elements and astrology) to help us gain a true understanding of liberation, our individual purposes here on this planet, and how we can truly live in the name of service, compassion, and integration. Her philosophy: we can read things, listen to podcasts, talks, and sermons, and watch documentaries all day long, but the information and understanding will never truly seep in until we FEEL the energy for ourselves and that is exactly why her classes and trainings are so powerful and transformational. You will not only receive valuable wisdom, but also the experience of feeling the magic alive within you and around you for yourself via yoga, meditation, journal prompts, visualizations, and practices.
