The best way to learn is to simply begin. In this workshop we will discuss and practice the foundations of yoga including:
- A brief history of yoga
- The 8 limbs of yoga
- Alignment awareness in common yoga poses
- Basic breathwork and meditation
- A beginner's flow
- How to use props
- The healing benefits of a yoga practice
- Space for questions
This workshop is designed for beginners, however, seasoned yogis are more than welcome to join if you have a yearning to come back to the basics! Please arrive with a "beginner's mind."
